We make time for you and inform you about every parameter for your itinerary planning: course conditions, needed surefootedness and fitness, facts about the length and altitude. Technical details are our specialty, and we want to share our knowledge with you.

There is no time to get bored
Summer in the hiking area of the alps

Only a destination for passionate hikers? Not at all! Biker, kite surfer and fishermen are just as welcomed at the Resia Lake! Start directly from your apartment and walk into the alpine world of the Upper Venosta Valley and enjoy the Haider- and Resia Lake.
By bike you don’t have to stay in the valley, the more metres in altitude you make, the merrier the view! The Venosta train brings you all the way back.
The Resia Lake has the perfect conditions for surfer. And the best part is: you are surrounded by a breath-taking panorama!
From the end of April you can cast for pikes, perches and trouts. We gladly help you with the purchase of a fishing licence.

Active holiday in the Venosta Valley
Winter

You want to prove yourself on the slopes? Then off you go onto the fanstastic pistes! There is a downhill run for every level of difficulty. Endurance is also demanded here, as the Haideralm ski area offers the longest valley run in the Venosta Valley, with a total length of 4.1 km.
The more than 100 km of cross-country skiing trails offer a full-body workout. Start from your flat an discover the panoramic cross- country trail of St. Valentin!
Likewise, high altitude tours in powder snow await you from November onwards. We recommend you climb the Inner Nockenkopf (2768 m)!
For more leisurely excursions, the Venosta Valley has 2 toboggan runs ready for you. Only a 5-minute walk from the Harmonie takes you to the 2.5 km long runs start.

The Church Tower in the Lake
Culture through the Valley

Since prehistorical times, the Passo Resia, is one of the most important north-south connections in the alps. Fertile ground and medieval culture, romanesque churches and rhaetian town names, the Venosta Valley tells a millennium-old story.

Our tips for the boarder triangle:

  • In the Resia reservoir, here in Curon, stands the Church Tower in the Lake – the Venosta Valley landmark.
  • The cloister Müstair located in the Münstertal (Switzerland) is only 1 km behind the italian border and is part of the UNESCO World Heritage.
  • The Naudersberg Castle in the Upper Tyrol (Austria) still appears in its original medieval state
